FTM Project

On 2015 until 2019 I was worked at Telkom Akses by Telkom Indonesia as technicihian. On 2018, I got an assignment to undergo a big company project. The project is moving several panel center from the old room or we say MDF room moved to FTM room. FTM is Fiber Termination Management for manage the fiber cable on several panels before exit the Central.While The MDF is Medium Density Fiberboard, in this room used for manage cooper cable but some panels already fiber optic cable. So, the project is moving optic cable on several panels in MDF room to FTM room, this easy to hear and read but hard to action and take a long time for the progress.

There are has a step to action ;

1. Get data on the cable like how many capacity cable in one cable, where the cable directing, total cable for pulling up, how many the central idle, etc.

2. Get prepare before cut off like pulling up the large cable and the small cable, connecting cable to new panel, streamlining the cable right or not.

3. Cut off, in this process the internet has not connect on many site because the cable was cut and connect to new cable.
